Noodles and Company is a chain of fast-casual restaurants in the United States specialized in American noodles, pasta, sandwiches, Italian dishes and other food products. The chain is having its presence all over the country having 340 locations as of March, 2013.

Noodles and Company came into existence in the year 1995 by Aaron Kennedy who got inspired after eating noodles at Mamie's Asian Noodle Shop in Greenwich Village, New York. Aaron Kennedy previously worked for the famous beverage company 'Pepsi' as a marketing executive established the chain using his personal savings and collections from friends. In the beginning the chain received negative responses in its first year of business. But after sometime the business started improving in the second year and its profits were increased during the period from year 1996 to 2000 and at last the business became a hit. Noodles and Company restaurants are equipped with a wide range of facilities such as free Wi-Fi access, beer and wine availability, Mobile and online ordering with an option of home delivery of food products. The publicly owned company is headquartered in the US state of Colorado.

The first outlet of the chain was opened in Cherry Creek, Denver, Colorado. For advertisement of its products the company sponsors many sporting and entertainment events held all over the country and through outdoor and print ads. Some of the outlets of the company are franchised and some are wholly owned by Noodles and company. The quality of products and service offered by the company earned it many awards and recognitions that includes some for fast-growth, healthy food and nutritional food offered.
