What is Les Invalides?
Les Invalides also referred as “The National Residence of the Invalids” is a complex of buildings which is located at the seventh arrondissement of Paris, France. It consists of Museum, monuments, military history of France, Church, Hospital, Retirement home and Mausoleum. The construction of Les Invalides was started in the year of 1671 and completed in 1678. Les Invalides has designed in French Baroque architecture and its interior was painted by Le Brun's disciple Charles de La Fosse.
