What is City of Elliot Lake?
City of Elliot Lake is the part of Algoma District, Ontario, Canada. It falls between two major cities of country: Sudbury and Sault Ste. This Lake city was established in 1955 and being operated by its government body, Elliot Lake City Council. The whole city is spread over an area of 714.56 km. City of Elliot Lake was meant for mining industry, as the city considered best uranium mining . It is named after small lake that is located on the one part of the city. Many mining companies have been setup around the city among them few are Denison Mines and Rio Algom. The city incorporated as city in late 1990, and since it has become well known mining in surrounding region.
