Burlington Steamboat Days is one of the famous and distinctive festivals celebrated in Burlington once in a year. Organized in the year 1963 performing a six day of Centenary event with a collection of musical concert show. The master’s or presenter’s role is an important part as they are the best and gracious entertainers in the United States. It’s almost fifty years that the event was successfully played and attracted a mass range of Peoples in a Burlington. On every year there is a change and introducing a new show for the community, but the Choice of old one remains same in the Heart of the peoples with no deal.Dixielad Jazz is one among them which remembered by too many different old age groups.

The events are performed on two different stages on the ground. Local bands on the south part of the stage has two Evening shows except Sunday night and north part of the outdoor main stage presents an national head liners. In 1986 one of the breaking records for the World’s largest conga line by means of Miami Sound Machine was presented in the stage of Burlington. Some of the main acts carried out in the ground includes Lady Antebellum, Alice Cooper, Sugarland, ZZ Top, three Doors Down, Zac Brown Band, Twisted Sister etc.There are other special events takes place in the surrounding area of Festival for the golfers, painters, superior citizens, adults and special individuals’ etc.Food dealers also positioned in the grounds for the finest and the delicious production of food to its greatest. the Daily actions such as Kids Day, Talent Show, Art Day, Parade, Senior Days, and Fireworks are take place in the ground of Burlington. In early years of 1964 man named Louie Armstrong is considered to be the first entertainer to perform on stage and Buck Owen in 1966 also brings the same tottering memories. The Festival also presents a carnival show of about twenty five rides which is a key fascination to the people.

Burlington steam boat days being conducted for the past three decades has stamped its own importance in to the local culture which eventually the Future generations of Burlington would never think of missing at all. The festival will continue to entertain and inspire people around the world for future generations to come.
