What is Bronx Zoo?
The Bronx Zoo is also known with the names of the Bronx Zoological Park and the Bronx Zoological Gardens that is one of the famous zoos located in the United States. This one is located in New York City in an area of 265 acres (107 ha). The Bronx Zoo was opened on 8th of November 1899. It is the biggest metropolitan zoo in the world that has More Than five thousand animals and 22 fascinating exhibits. The Bronx Zoo is operated by the Wildlife Conservation Society (WCS).
Exhibits And Attractions
There are many exhibits and attractions, which attracts people to visit from all over the world. The Bronx Zoo has a number of attractions listed as the Wild Asia Monorail, Congo Gorilla Forest, Tiger Mountain, Astor Court and Sea Lion Pool, African Plains, Himalayan Highlands, Mouse House, etc. Some attractive animals include African wild dog, American Bison, Western Lowland Gorilla, Javan Lutung, Black-necked Crane, Ring-tailed Lemur, Baboon Reserve, Big Bears, Lioness, etc. There are several paid attractions and each attraction has cost of $5.
