VyStar is a financial service industry which is also known as VyStar Credit Union. It was founded in the year 1952 at Naval Air Station Jacksonville. The headquarters of the company is situated in Jacksonville, Florida, United States of America. The company is authorized by the National Credit Union Administration (NCUA). The main products of the company are Consumer loans,Saving, Mortgages, Checking and Credit cards.

Since its beginning, the company had opened its membership for military as well as civil employees and for there families also. The second branch of the company was established in the year 1975 and, the third branch of the company was opened Next year because of the increase in the count of members of the company. With the continuous rise in the number of members, it was in the year 2001 that the company became a state-chartered credit union. Thus after such an achievement, the company changed its name and the new name of the company was Jax Navy Credit Union. In the next year only, the company started accepting members living or working in the counties like st. Johns, Nassau, Duval, Clay and Baker as it got the permission from the State of Florida to accept them.

It was on the 50th anniversary of Jax Navy that it changed its name from Jax Navy Credit Union to VyStar Credit Union. In the year 2007 a branch was opened by VyStar called as Bartram Trail High School and opened six other new branches in the following year. VyStar also opened its one subsidiary as a real estate agency, as it got the licesense in the year 2008 and named it as VyStar Financial Group.
