The Brick Limited is the leading retailer of furniture in Canada. It was started as The Brick Warehouse LP by Bill Comrie in 1971. The Company also deals in mattresses and home electronics. It had purchased a competitor in Calgary. Currently, The Brick has spread operations across the country. It operates more than 190 retail stores including 20 franchise locations. The Company has opened retail stores in eleven provinces including Alberta, Saskatchewan, Ontario, New Brunswick, Nova Scotia and the Northwest Territories. The Company has established had office in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. Moreover, it operates distribution centers in Calgary, Vancouver, Toronto, Montreal, etc cities. The Brick Limited had purchased United Furniture Warehouse in March 2004 that had 81 stores across the country. The company had renamed 24 stores as The Brick.
