The Halifax Fire services is the oldest fire department that was founded in 1749. Formerly the company was known as Union Fire Club and became Union Engine Company in 1768. IT Works under the department of Halifax regional Municipality. Halifax fire services is the fire and rescue services in Nova Scotia Canada. The fire department is responsible for enhancing and preserving the quality of life and effective response emergencies. It provides its services seven days a week and 24 hours in the country and the department staffed by the career and volunteer fire fighters. It provides its services that are divided into two primary divisions core and rural. The core division serves seventeen stations with 432 firefighters and the civilian employees. This division operate its services in various areas such as Bedford, Eastern Passage, Cole Harbour, Lower Sackville, Halifax, Dartmouth and Westphal. The another part serves HRM's large rural area in western and eastern parts of Halifax county in Canada. It consists of 32 fire departments with 44 stations, 800 volunteer, 115 trucks and 38 career firefighters that serves into five zones. Its Aim is to reduce the effect of fire and frequency to provide safety to the Citizens in the country. The Halifax Fire department protect the lives and property of the people from damage. It includes a fire investigation team which investigates the reasons of fire.
