What is Mto London?
MTO is the The Ministry of Transportation of Ontario that is responsible for creating a provincial highway system. The ministry performs its operations under the authority of Government of Ontario. It creates the transportation infrastructure for providing licencing and training of vehicles and drivers and for developing new policies under the enforcement of Ontario Provincial Police. The policies created regarding the maintenance of roads and other public transportation tasks are provided by MTO Transportation Enforcement Officers and Ministry of Environment Emissions Enforcement Officers. MTO looks after the registered vehicles, drivers; driver examination centers, GO Transit, Service-Ontario kiosks, travel points and many more. It is also involved in the construction of the provincial highway network for the road safety, maritime transport, rail transport, civil aviation and other public works. The maintenance of roads is looked after by the area maintenance contractors based upon different factors including TWD Roads Management, Transfield Services, Pioneer Construction & more. The regional offices of The Ministry of Transportation of Ontario (MTO) are located at Toronto in Central region; Kingston in Eastern region; London in South Western region; Thunder Bay in the North western region and many more. The area offices of MTO are situated at Cochrane, Ottawa, Port Hope, North Bay, Owen Sound, Bancroft and many more. Many agencies were the erstwhile form of The Ministry of Transportation of Ontario (MTO) including Department of Public Highways, Department of Highways (DOH), Ministry of Highways, Department of Northern Development (DND) and the Ministry of Transportation and Communications (MTC).
