What is National Sports Club of India Mumbai?
The National Sports Club of India is a sports club with branches located in Mumbai and Delhi, India and was established in the year 1950. The club is affiliated to the large number of sports and recreation clubs in Maharashtra as well as outside Maharashtra. The National Sports Club of India in Mumbai was inaugurated on May 17, 1957 by Shri Y.B. Chavan, first Chief Minister of the State of Maharashtra. The club offers large number of recreational facilities and it houses the large statue of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel. Various sports are available at the club including Table Tennis, Karate, Swimming, Badminton, Billiard, Carrom, Squash Court, Gymnastics, Lawn Tennis, Skating and Yoga. The coaching facilities for various sports are also provided in the club by skilled and experienced coaches. Various competitions are also held by the club. The facilities provided by the National Sports Club of India, Mumbai include fully equipped health clubs for Ladies and gents, coaching classes for various games for ladies and gents, dining and recreational facilities, permit rooms, lounges, restaurants, banquet facilities, well stocked Library, Unisex Saloon, Candy Corner and consumer store. The club also organizes various festivals and functions and the club remains open throughout the week except Sunday.
