What is Louisville Slugger Field?
Louisville slugger field is a baseball stadium, which was opened on April 12, 2000 by the Metro development Authority and operated by the Louisville Baseball Club. The field was innovatively designed by the architect HNTB K. Norman Berry Associates. The design of the field is quite unique because of a former train shed that was laid on the grounds to incorporate into the stadium. The stadium is having 11,522 fixed seats along with the rooms for 1,609 additional spectators in the picnic area and berm sections. It extensively provides press facilities, concessions, restrooms; children’s play area, team and several retail facilities.
