What is Kentucky Kappa Delta?
The University of Kentucky's Kappa Delta was established on October, 1897 by four founders named Lenora Ashmore, Julia Gardiner Tyler, Sara Turner and Mary Sommerville Sparks. They Dream to create something more lasting than a club – a sorority but now it has grown as a foundation with more than 2, 30,000 women, more than 220 chartered chapters and over 500 chartered alumnae chapters nationwide. The contributions alumnae, collegians, and friends of KD allow the foundation to offering assistance for the sorority’s four national, several local community programs, fund scholarships and possibilities for KD associates.
