What is Lake Norman?
Lake Norman is one of the North Carolina's largest freshwater reservoirs in the Southeastern United States. In between 1959 to 1964, the Lake Norman was built by Duke Energy as a part of Cowans Ford Dam. The lake is surrounded by the beautiful bushes and forests, which offers a comprehensive array of recreation facilities such as fishing, boats cruising along Aqua waters, swimming, wesome sports action, water sports, boating, golfing, water-skiing and other entertaining activities. It has also become a famous location for fun in the sun.
