What is Kindle?
Kindle or Amazon Kindle is the line of e-book readers by Amazon.com and perform several applications ranging from e-books reading, browsing to the downloading of content. Chronology of Kindle Generations
Kindle was first launched in 2007 and was the breakthrough success for Amazon.

In 2010, Amazon decided to release the DX series of Kindle.
Meanwhile, its third generation was available in the markets and was the first to feature Wi-Fi connectivity. The fourth generation of Kindle was introduced in 2011 with upgrading features like keys, cursor pad, on screen keyboard, and extended memory up to 2GB. It was followed by the release of Kindle Touch
in the same year. In 2012, Amazon announced the release of the fifth generation of Kindle followed by the launching of Kindle Paperwhite
as sixth generation Next
year. The seventh generation covers Kindle 6
and Kindle Voyage.
