What is GEHA?
GEHA or Government Employees Health Association is a non profit organization, which provides the financial services to the employees of the federal government. Addition to the employees, the organization also serves the families of the employees and retire employees. Its list of clients include some notable names in the United State like Personnel Management (OPM). It has been providing supplemental Benefits to the employees of Personnel Management since 2006, under FEDVIP Program.
GEHA or Government Employees Health Association Plans
GEHA provides various health and dental plans to the employees including Preferred provider organization (PPO) and Connection Dental. Addition to these, it also provides free for service plans to the needy people.

Government Employees Health Association was formed in 1937 by the
Railway Mail Clerks. The foundation of the organization was laid down in Kansas City, Missouri. It has total workforce of more than 1300 employees. Since 1937, it was renamed six times. Initially, Government Employees Health Association (GEHA) was known as Railway Mail Hospital Association and it had gained its current name in the year of 2007.
