The Ford Motor Company also known as simply Ford. The company was founded in June 16, 1903 by Henry Ford. Second edition of Ford Explorer was introduced in November 1994–2000. This model has upgraded and re-designed interiors ad exteriors. Engine capacity was same as first generation of 4000 liters but technology was upgraded to OHV overhead valve.

Third edition of Ford Explorer comes into market in year November 2000–2005. Fully independent rear suspension was installed and new features like stability control, Ford's AdvanceTrac with Roll Stability Control system. Engine capacity was increased to 4700 liters with 16 valves and in V-8 pattern.

Fourth generation was introduced in December 2005-2010. The 210 horse power was once again the standard engine but with more horses, 292hp. The Explorer received a trailer sway control system as standard equipment and the navigation system which was made standardized for future models.

Fifth generation Ford Explorer comes into play in December 3, 2010 with two different engines one petrol and one diesel. Cyclone model equipped with 3700 liters engine was build for police interceptor utility.

The Latest model of Ford Explore is launched in 2015 in four models named as explorer, XLT, Limited and sports. The 2015 model is high end engine technology and equipped with high quality leather interiors to make journey more leisure and comfortable journey. Exteriors are also re-designed from bumper to bumper.
