In the year 2002 the company invested a good amount in renewable energy holding a capacity of 1,800 MW of wind, solar and geothermal power. In the field of solar energy the company ranked at the top position. In addition to that the company is also in the business of power transmission where it does import and export of power from one part of the country to other.
