What is Edmonton Valley Zoo?
Edmonton Valley Zoo is a zoological garden which is located in Alberta province of Canada. The zoo consists of man made habitats of many animals and birds which was opened for public in year 1959. The zoo resides more than 350 animals and in more than 100 species. Edmonton Valley Zoo is a member of Canadian Association of Zoos and Aquariums which controls all its operations. It is also one of the most vid tourist places in Edmonton. The zoo witness greater rush of crowd during weekdays. The place has become Very popular among all Age of people but specially kids. The exhibits in zoo are divided into various parts so that to give extra living space to each and every animal/bird. These exhibits are Inner Zoo, Makira Outpost, Carnivore Alley, Elephant Exhibit, Saito Center, African Veldt, Back Paddocks and Birds of Prey. The animals which are displayed in the zoo are White Pelicans, Capybara, Guinea Pigs, Emus, Spider and Squirrel Monkeys, Callimicos, River Otters, Red Pandas, Alpaca, Tortoise, Lemurs, Zebras, Snowy Owls, Bald Eagle and others. The Zoo remains open on 364 days a year but closing on Christmas Day. The officials also work to preserve all endangered species of animals which include red pandas and others.
