New York Times and Vanity Fair. She was backed by her family and friends with the capital of 250,000 US Dollars, in addition to her 50,000 US Dollars savings. It was launched in New York and soon spread to the other cities of the USA, and London. Daily Candy was making profit in its first year of launching and within the
Next two years it was subscribed up to 285,000 subscribers. In 2003, its stakes were sold to the Pilot Group in a deal of 3.5 million US Dollars. In 2008,
Comcast purchased Daily Candy for 125 million US Dollars. By 2009, the was enjoying the subscription of over
Three million users which were confined to 2.5 million in 2007.
