What is CBN?
CBN is an abbreviated form of Christian Broadcasting Network. It transmits the religious and spiritual TV shows in the twenty countries across the globe. Operations from 1960 to 2000
It was 1961, when CBN was started by Pat Robertson, a televangelist to transmit the program based on Christian faith. After being established as a leading religious TV channel, CBN established a CBN Satellite Service, a cable network to spread Christian views in 1979. Latter was renamed as CBN Cable Network in 1981 and was growing with the access to over 10.9 million households in the USA. The ownership of CBN was passed to International Family Company in 1990 followed by New Corporation and Walt Disney.
