What is Cbec?
The Central Board of Excise and Customs is a public agency that was formed on 24 February 1944. It is part of the Department of Revenue under the Ministry of Finance, Government of India. Cbec is headquartered in New Delhi, India. Mrs. Praveen Mahajan is the Chairman of the CBEC. The Central Board of Excise and Customs is commonly known as CBEC. It is responsible for regulates and administering Customs, Central Excise and Service Tax in India. The Central Board of Excise and Customs has over 91 branch offices in the country.
