Woodland Mall is a super-regional shopping mall of the United States of America. It was founded in 1968. It was developed by Taubman Centers and later owned by Pennsylvania Real Estate Investment Trust. It is located in Grand rapids, Michigan, United States.
There are 100 stores of the mall which are opened in different locations and it also has 4 anchor tenants that is Barnea & Noble, JCPenney, Macy's and Sears. The mall was designed in such a way that it consists of two orientations that is the northeast-to-southweat, and the northeast end having JCPenney and the southeast end having the Sears. There is also a movie theater in the mall. The mall is only single floored and the total retail floor area of the mall is approximately 1,158,942 square feet (107,700 meter square). In the year 2006, the mall was sold by its developer Taubman Centers to the Pennsylvania Real Estate Investment Trust.
It was in the year 1999 that play area and a food court were opened in the mall. These two were placed adjacent to the JCPenney. After the mall was sold, the new owner added a Red Robin, On the Border restaurant and a 14-screen movie theater to the mall in acquisition year 2006. One year later, the movie theater complex was bought by the Celebration cinema. Later in the year 2013, the Forever 21 also opened its store in the mall.
