Winners Ajax is a division of Winners Merchants International L.P that operates more than 290 department stores across the different provinces in Canada. The stores offers a wide range of products such as apparels, footwear, furniture, jewelry, fragrances, beauty products, baby items and housewares. Winners has around 20 stores in Ayax Town located in Southern Ontario. Winners is fully owned by TJX Companies, Inc., an American corporation that operates a chain of department stores in Canada, United States, United Kingdom, Germany and Poland under different brands such as T.J.Maxx, Home Goods, Marshalls and Sierra Trading Post. The corporate office of the company is located in Framingham, Massachusetts, United States.
Winners History
In 1956, Stanley Feldberg along with his companions founded Zayre Corp. that manages a chain of Zayre retail stores across the United States. The company's name was changed to T.J.Maxx. In 1982, a chain of retail stores under Winners brand was introduced by David Margolis and Neil Rosenberg. TJX Companies, Inc. expanded its business and purchased Winners chain in the year 1990.
