What is VA GI Bill?
VA Gi Bill was passed to provide additional Benefits to the living veterans of Second World War. The bill is official known as the Servicemen's Readjustment Act of 1944. Department of Veterans Affairs oversees all the operations of VA GI Bill.

The federal government offers various benefits under VA GI Bill like low-cost mortgages, cash payments of tuition, high school education, unemployment compensation and many others. Until 1956, approximately eight million veterans had taken the benefits of the VA GI Bill for the educational purpose including 5.6 million training program users. Canadian government had also started the similar program to give the additional benefits to the living Second World War fighters for the valuable contribution.
