What is University of Minnesota Contact?
The University of Minnesota is the leading co-educational research university based in the United States. It comprises nineteen colleges and schools. The University of Minnesota was initialized in the year 1851 as a preparatory school. In 1869, it has been rewarded with the college status. Later on, it became university. It is affiliated to Association of American Universities and Committee on Institutional Cooperation. the University of Minnesota has five campuses namely Twin Cities, Crookston, Duluth, Morris and Rochester. The main campus of the university covers an area of around 2,730 acres. It has facilities of bookstores, libraries, computer lab, television and more. The university also provides sports facilities to the students. Students participate in the several sports including football, basketball, ICE hockey, wrestling etc. It has 24 varsity athletic teams which are known as 'Golden Gophers'.
