What is Universal Studios Singapore?
Universal Studios Singapore is one of the most vid theme parks in Asia. The theme park is built inside the Resorts World Sentosa which has span of over 49 acres. Universal Studios Singapore is the second Universal Studio in Asia first is based in Japan.
Universal Studios Singapore was publicly opened in 2010 and same year it received over 45 million visitors. It made its grand opening on 28th May 2011 and in just nine month, it received 2 million visitors. The park has seven themed zones which are based on most popular Hollywood movies and television shows. The themed zones generally comprises pictures of cartoon characters, restaurants, shops etc. Different theme zones are given different names as per their features, few of them are Hollywood, New York, Sci-Fi City, Ancient Egypt, Far Far Away etc. Universal Studios Singapore has over 30 restaurants including food carts, and 20 retail shops.
The resort, World Sentosa has many hotels and restaurants namely celebrity chefs, Asia Cuisine, Western Cuisine etc. On the other hand, its major hotels are Festive Hotel, Hard Rock Hotel Equarius Hotel and Hotel Michael. Apart from this, Resort World Sentosa has many other attractions, some of them are Marine Life Park, SEA Aquarium, Dolphin Island, Trick Eye Museum etc.
