Tolay Lake Regional Park is the California's most popular spot as well as historical milestone. The park is situated in the Sonoma County's city Petaluma between Petaluma River and the Sonoma Valley. Tolay Lake Regional Park is spread in 1,769-acre land area which consists of grasslands, ponds, wetlands, a seasonal freshwater lake, ridges and other natural resources. The Tolay Lake Regional Park is also a dwelling for the different species of special status like Golden Eagle, Burrowing Owl, Red-Legged Frog, Horned Lark, Tricolor Blackbird, Pond Turtle, Harrier, and White Tailed Kite.
