What is Texas Commission on Environmental Quality?
In United States, the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ) is the second largest environmental agency and has 16 regional offices. To setup the overall agency in terms of direction and policy the TCEQ has three full-time commissioners, who are appointed by the Governor. The commissioners are assigned for six-year terms with the guidance and agreement of the Texas Senate. Texas Commission on Environmental Quality is authorized to frame rule and policies to protect environment that comprises of land, water and air.
