What is Sars?
The South African Revenue Service (SARS) is a government owned agency based in South Africa that engages in collection of tax and revenue services. SARS is officially called as the South African Revenue Service, which is responsible to collect national taxes and ensure the tax law. The South African Revenue Service (SARS) was found as an autonomous agency in the year 1997 under the Act 34. Its corporate office is located in Gauteng of South Africa and branch offices are situated in various cities of the country.

Citizens to pay tax in cost effective ways for nation building purposes. The revenue related matters collected as tax by SARS are reported to Minister of Finance. As a tax collecting authority, it helps of taxpayers related to tax matters.
