History
Rubbermaid brand was launched in the year 1933 for company's red rubber dustpan. But the parent company traces their
Roots to the year 1920 with the establishment of Wooster Rubber company that initially manufacture toy balloons for the "Sunshine" brand. Wooster Rubber and Rubbermaid combined together to make a new company named "Wooster Rubber Company". The company was taken over by Newell at a whopping cost of $6 billion which named it "Newell Rubbermaid". Previously the company owns its headquarters in Wooster, Ohio that was moved to another location in Atlanta, Georgia.
