What is Rtd?
RTD is an abbreviated form of the Regional Transportation District. It is a public Transit service that operates in the Denver region in the US state of Colorado. RTD provides innovative and quality bus and light rail services. Everyday, a large number of people travel through the RTD carriers. RTD has active operations in eight counties in the state. The district started business operations in the year 1972. RTD was born in the Colorado General Assembly's Forty Seventh session and initially, it had presence in five counties. In July 1974, the district acquired the operations of the Denver Metro Transit. The customer services are available from Monday - Friday: 6:00 a.m. - 8:00 p.m. and Weekends/Holidays: 9:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.
