Ramstein bx operational Wings includes 86th Wing originally a fighter bomber wing in the period of 1950's. In 1970's F-4 Phantom II tactical fighter wing did its job in a fine in some important missions. Another wing was activated in 1976, at Ramstein namely 306th Strategic Wing with a KC-135 air refueling and an RC-135 reconnaissance mission. the 38th Combat Support Wing was started in may 2004, in order to
Boost up the USAFE geographically separated units.
