What is Pima Federal Credit Union?
Pima Federal Credit Union, commonly known as PFCU, is a financial institution in the United States of America that serves a large number of customers. It is federally insured by the National Credit Union Administration (NCUA). Irrespective to banks and corporations, Pima Federal Credit Union is owned and operated by its members. The credit union is aimed at serving its improving the communities and serving its members with high quality financial services. It was founded in the year 1951.
The credit union was created with the extreme efforts of Jane Evans and her husband Dick Evans. The Pima Federal Credit Union provides a diverse portfolio of financial services and products including personal loans, auto loans, home loans, credit cards, checking and saving accounts, individual retirement accounts (IRA), direct deposits and more. Its Origins date back to 1951 when the founder purchased a family car and he vid a credit union for a car loan. At that time, he decided to create his own financial institution and as a result established the Pima Federal Credit Union at the Amphitheater High School. The head office of the credit union is situated in Tucson, Arizona.
