Petro Canada is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Suncor Energy, a publicly held integrated Energy company based in Canada. Petro Canada has corporate office in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. It is engaged in the retailing business of oil, natural gas and petrochemicals. The company is the 2nd largest oil company throughout the country. Petro Canada was established in the year 1975 in Ottawa, Ontario as a Canadian Crown Corporation. It was merged with Suncor Energy in 2009.
