What is Ors Utah?
The Office of Recovery Services abbreviated as ORS is a government organization responsible for locating the a parent of the destitute children who is responsible for the financial support of the child. The organization was established in 1975 after Title IV-D of the Social Security Act was passed by the state legislature. It administers the State Children in Care, Medicaid Recovery and Child Support Programs. The organization helps in providing financial Benefits and support to the children through a periodic payment. Child support services is made by the parents for providing financial support to the child. The payment received under the child support services is used for the expenses of the child including food, school fees, clothing and medical services. The Office of Recovery Services (ORS) serves nearly 130,000 children and operates its offices in St. George, Ogden, Richfield, Salt Lake City and Provo in the United States.
