Norwegian originally known as 'Norwegian Air Shuttle ASA' and doing business as Norwegian, is an air transport carrier, based in Norway. It is Scandinavia's 2nd largest airline in terms of passenger carried and Europe's third largest low cost airline. Norwegian Airline have number of operating bases in the world that includes Las Palmas, Madrid, Barcelona, Copenhagen, London (LGW), Trondheim, Oslo (TRF), Stockholm (ARN). Norwegian Air Shuttle is one of the members of the European Low Fares Airline Association (ELFAA).
Norwegian Airline was incorporated in January 1993 replacing the previously operating regional airline named 'Busy Bee'. The airline schedules flights to national as well as international destinations offering flight services to 121 locations in the world which were operational with a fleet Size of 89 aircrafts as of March, 2013. Its fleet consists of aircrafts from major aircraft manufacturers such as Boeing, Airbus. The airline has its offices in Thailand, Sweden, Spain, Denmark, United Kingdom, Finland and Estonia. In the year 2013, a UK based airport and airline ranking , Skytrax, named the 'Norwegian Airline' Europe's best low cost airline.
