What is North Surrey Secondary?
North Surrey Secondary is a public co-educational high school which comes under the School District 36 Surrey. It was opened in the year 1949. The school provides education to the students from grade 8 to 12. Main campus of the school is located in Surrey, British Columbia, Canada. It has adopted the Greek soldier as mascot. The main objective of the school is to provide high quality education and comprehensive opportunities to the students. As per 2010 records, the school had approximately 1528 students. It is one of the Canada's largest high schools. North Surrey Secondary has well qualified 102 staff in their respective fields. The sport teams are also known as Spartans. The school is divided into twenty departments, some of them are Business, Career, Counselling, Culinary Arts, English, Home Economics, Information Technology, Math, library, performing Arts, Physical Education, Languages, Visual Arts, Science, Social Studies and Technology Education. Besides education, the school is also engaged in sports and extra curricular activities such as ICE hockey, volley ball, basket ball, cross country and soccer.
