What is North Bay General Hospital?
History
North Bay General Hospital is known as 'The North Bay Regional Health Centre' which is abbreviated as NBRHC. The hospital was established in the year of 2011 with the amalgamation of North Bay General Hospital (NBGH) and the Northeast Mental Health Centre. NBRHC is adjacent with its
Three hospitals namely Timmins and District Hospital, Sault Area Hospital and Health Sciences North (Sudbury) while it also serves small community hospitals in its regions.
Services
The North Bay Regional Health Centre offers several treatment services through its various medical departments such as Critical Care, Cystoscopy Clinic, Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, Orthopedic Clinic, Renal Dialysis, Respiratory Therapy, Surgical Services, Surgical Clinic, Women's Clinic, Wound Clinic, Ambulatory Care and Outpatient Services etc. The hospital offers 420 bed facility and several outpatient and services in North Bay and entire northeast region. Apart from this, the health center has its own Research Department where is working experienced physicians.
