What is NMLS?
NMLS stands for The Norman Manley Law School based in Mona, Jamaica. The Law School of The Norman Manley Law School was incorporated in the year of 1973 by Council of Legal Education. The NMLS is the destination of desire fulfillment about law education. The NMLS is named as Norman that was the late Hon. Norman Washington Manley Q.C. The NMLS is the Third Law institute launched by Council of Legal Education. The institute has highly educated and well experienced staff members that provides a high standard education with Keen interest. The institute of The Norman Manley Law School provides law education as well as prepares the students for admission to practice in the Commonwealth Caribbean destinations. NMLS is a 700 square metres (7,500 sq ft) and Two storey reinforced concrete block masonry building.
What MNLS Produces
The NMLS with a highly educated staff members produces a better education as well as other things that are described as follows:
- NMLS offers programs that are assigned by the Council of Legal Education that are TWO Years Program and Six Months Program.
- The Two Year Program is available for One Year degree holders that are desirable for jurisdiction practice of Treaty.
- Six Months programs can be availed by those persons that have already qualified One Year degree of Law and is also practicing the Common Law Jurisdiction but wants to practice relevant jurisdictions of the Treaty.
- The NMLS offers the clinical programs and Academic Calendar.
- Publication are also made at the Law institute such as West Indian Law Journal, Jamaica and the World : Aspects of International Law, Hay, Beresford Probate Practice in Jamaica. Kingston, etc.
