What is Manuel Quezon?
Manuel Luis Quezon y Molina was considered as the first Filipino to head a Govt. of the Philippines from November 15, 1935 to August 1, 1944. He is also called as the Father of the National Language. Manuel Quezon was born on August 19, 1878 in Baler, Tayabas, Spanish East Indies and died on August 1, 1944 in the age of sixty five. His father and mother both were primary grade school teachers. Manuel Quezon acquired his primary education from public school in his village and secondary education from the Colegio De San Juan De Letran. On 17 December 1918, he married to his first cousin named Aurora Aragon Quezon.
