What is Mahanama College Colombo?
Mahanama College is a National College established on 1954 in Colombo, Sri Lanka. Being a public school, it is headed by the Central government and the principal D.W Senarath Bandara. During the initial year, there were only five students along with few staff in the class but today the ratio of the students in college has been extended to around 5,500 students with campus of 40,000 meter square. Due to hurried increase in students, the school has been shifted to closer location i.e. Valukarama. The school is comprised of four houses which represents the true qualities of a human being such as Karuna, Muditha, Upekha and Mettha.
