After the death of Liz Claiborne dated, 26th June 2007 the Liz Claiborne Inc. officially became the Fifth & Pacific, Inc. on May 15, 2012. This changed the whole focus of the company to Three brands Lucky Brand Jeans, Juicy Couture and kate spade. Another updation was made in the marketing department, selling goods directly to customers. The Fifth & Pacific was finally re-named to Kate Spade & Company on 25th February 2014.
