What is Lingayen?
Lingayen is the Capital City of Pangasinan County. It is located on the Luzon Island, Philippines. The city was founded in Year 1614 by Spanish soldiers and Augustinian missionaries. Name Lingayen derived by the natives which means "to look back" in Pangasinan language. Lingayen is a municipality and comprises 32 Barangays and 7 sitios. It has total area of 62.76 sq km. It is the tourist destination also, it consist beautiful landscapes, War Memorial Parks and Lingayen Gulf. City witness cold weather from December to February, Warm from March to April and rainy season from May and October.
