What is Kvic?
The Khadi and Village Industries Commission (KVIC) is a governmental body which works under the government of India. Kvic was formed in the year 1956 for Promotion of the khadi and village industries in the sub-urban areas of India. Its Head Office is located in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India. It is a part of The Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises which is an Indian government branch office. The Khadi and Village Industries Commission has six regional offices and 29 state offices for the execution of its different programs such as Prime Ministers Employment Generation Program, Rebate Scheme, Grants and Loans.
