What is Karnataka Co-Operative Milk Federation?
Karnataka Milk Federation (KMF) Cooperative Dairy Federation in Karnataka, governed by milk makers of the State. KMF is a symbol of development of rural areas Progress having more than 2.30 million milk makers almost in 12823 Dairy Cooperative Societies at rural point working in 13 District Cooperative Milk Unions of Karnataka State. The only motive of the Federation is to cover rural progress by dairy progress and the result is the dairy units in Karnataka is now reached from milk-scarcity to milk-surplus. From 1974 to 1975 the first diary program like Amul was started with the economic support of World Bank in that ANAND method in a Three tire structure perform the main level.
Milk products of KMF
KMF had various products like Pasteurised Toned milk, Nandini Double Toned Milk, milk powder, UHT milk, ghee and butter, icecream and frozen deserts, milk sweets, chocolate. Chocolate examples are like creamy bite, Eclairs, Chit Chat. KMF had other products also like Cheddar Cheese, Diced paneer, Dharwad Peda. Smart, Sampoorna, Good Life, Slim are examples of UHT milk.

KMF has 13 Milk Unions throughout the State which procure milk from Primary Dairy Cooperative Societies(DCS) and distribute milk to the consumers in various Towns/Cities/Rural markets in Karnataka. Mysore Milk Union, Shimoga Milk Union, Bangalore Milk Union, Bijapur Milk Union, D.K Milk Union, Hassan Milk Union, Tumkur Milk Union are some examples of KMF milk union. KMF units includes KMF Corporate Office, Mother Dairy, Nandini Milk Products, Cattle Feed Plants and various other units.
