What is Kansas Board of Pharmacy?

The Kansas Board of Pharmacy issues license to the practicing pharmacy professionals and protects the public from illicit, mislabeled and adulterated drugs and improper and illegal conduct on the part of pharmacists. It provides an Assurance of professional ability in the practice of pharmacy and investigates any illegal practice or complaints against licensed pharmacists. The State Board of Pharmacy consists of seven members including six licensed pharmacists with five years experience and one member from the General public. The State Board of Pharmacy is appointed by the Governor and operates for a term of four years. It also helps the state licensing boards in enforcing, developing and implementing reliable standards relating to pharmacies and registers nearly 16,000 pharmacists and entities after completing various formalities.
