What is Kabir Suman?
Kabir Suman is a Bengali musician, politician, singer, poet, Journalist and writer. He was born on March 16, 1949 in Cuttack, Odisha, India. In his childhood he was trained in classical music under the influence of his father. He did his graduation in English Literature and Diploma in French Language from Jadavpur University. He worked for a small period of time in All India Radio and Union Bank of India. From Year 1975-1979, he also worked as a radio Journalist in the Voice of Germany. In year 2009, he was nominated for general election by Trinamool Congress from Jadavpur Constituency in Kolkata, West Bengal and he won the election. He became famous in year 1990 with the albums like Tomake chai and Boshe Anko.
