What is Itu?
The International Telecommunication Union (ITU) is a specific agency of the United Countries that is accountable for issues that concern information and communication technologies. ITU initially established as the International Telegraph Union. The International Telecommunication Union harmonizes the shared global use of the Radio spectrum, encourages international collaboration in giving satellite orbits, works to improve telecommunication facilities and assists in the development and synchronization of worldwide technical requirements. The ITU is active in areas of broadband Internet, latest-generation wireless technology, radio astronomy, aeronautical and Maritime navigation, convergence in fixed-mobile phone, TV broadcasting, Internet access next-generation networks, data and voice.
