IBN Lokmat is a famous news channel. This Lokmat is Marathi language based channel. It is located in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India. IBN-Lokmat is a 24 hour news channel. It is a joint project between Network 18 and Lokmat Group, The both groups runs the most read Marathi newspaper, Lokmat.IBN Lokmat was launched on 6 April 2008,the Gudi Padwa Day.
The Channel is headed by Nikhil Wag lee, a Marathi journalist and former Editor of Marathi daily. There are many famous programs which are picturing on Ibn Lokmat news channel.The offices of Hindi and Marathi TV news channels IBN-7 and IBN-Lokmat in Mumbai and Pune were attacked by Shiv Sena activist on 20 November 2009.
