Hyundai Australia is the Australian division of Hyundai Motor Company, a South Korean multinational automotive company pioneered in the manufacturing and sales of automobiles. Hyundai was ranked as the fifth largest automotive company in the world in terms of unit sales for the year 2012 that was 4.4 million vehicles worldwide. It also ranked as the eighth largest manufacturer of automobiles in the world for the year 2008. In addition to all this, Hyundai owns the world's largest integrated automobile manufacturing facility in Ulsan, South Korea that holds an annual production capacity of 1.6 million units.
